This week’s featured pets are Cheerio, a calm puppy who came to the shelter six weeks ago, and Priscilla, an affectionate calico ready to find her home. Here are the Jonesboro Right Now Pets of the Week:
Meet Cheerio: A Calm and Sweet “Bubba”
Six weeks ago, Cheerio came in with his litter (the “C” pups), who had been exposed to parvovirus. After isolation and antibodies, the “C” pups are healthy and ready for furever homes!
Cheerio is 14 weeks old, male, and will likely be a medium-sized adult. He’s up to date on his vaccines and preventatives and will be neutered and microchipped before being sent home. Cheerio is the “bubba” of the litter and is very calm and sweet.

Meet Priscilla: An Affectionate Calico Looking for a Home
Priscilla is a female calico domestic short hair who has been in the shelter for 13 weeks. She’s 1 year, 8 months old, up to date on vaccines, and is already microchipped and spayed. Priscilla is affectionate and friendly and will make a wonderful addition to someone’s home!

Additionally, through the end of July, NEAHS is participating in Bissell’s nationwide “Empty the Shelters” event, which means adoption fees are reduced for all eligible animals at the shelter.
