This week’s featured pets are Chester, who has already been a welcomed addition to the shelter, and Memphis, the pup that is definitely a friend to have. Here are the Jonesboro Right Now Pets of the Week:

Meet Chester: The Affectionate Cuddle Bug

Chester has only been in the shelter for a week, but he’s a staff favorite!

He’s a six-year-old, large domestic with short hair, who has already been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all of his vaccines. Chester is a friendly and affectionate cuddle bug, so he’s ready for his furever home!

How to adopt: For more details on taking the next steps to adopt, review the shelter’s guidelines here or fill out the online adoption application.

Meet Memphis: The Young and Friendly Pup

Memphis is one of a litter of eight “city pups” who were found dumped 6 weeks ago.

With the help of the village, we were able to keep them safe and keep them healthy until they could come into the shelter proper. They’re 14 weeks old and will be a small size as adults.

Memphis is female and is the runt. She’s definitely the most playful and friendly of the bunch though. She’s so adorable, you’ll fall in love with her as fast as we did!

How to adopt: For more details on taking the next steps to adopt, review the shelter’s guidelines here or fill out the online adoption application.

How You Can Help

If you are unable to adopt a pet at this time, you can still assist Dobby and Queenie by sharing this article on social media or sending it to friends and neighbors. Helping spread the word increases their visibility and helps connect them with potential adopters in Northeast Arkansas.
