This week’s featured pets are Dobby, who loves to talk and play, and Queenie, a friendly mother cat looking for her furever home. Here are the Jonesboro Right Now Pets of the Week:

Meet Dobby: A Sweet and Talkative Puppy

Dobby is an 18-week-old female pup who was dumped with her litter several weeks ago. (Her littermates are Gruber, Pixie, and Winnie).

We’re getting them up to date, spayed, and microchipped, so they’ll be ready to go to furever homes by the end of the week! Dobby will likely be a medium size when fully grown, and she’s talkative, affectionate, and playful, so she’s the favorite of the shelter staff!

Queenie came to the shelter a month ago with her litter of kittens and a bad cold. She’s since fully recovered and is up to date, spayed, and microchipped. Queenie is a 2-year-old, domestic shorthair who is on the petite side, and she’s one of the friendliest and sweetest cats we’ve ever met!

How to adopt: For more details on taking the next steps to adopt, review the shelter’s guidelines here or fill out the online adoption application.

How You Can Help

If you are unable to adopt a pet at this time, you can still assist Dobby and Queenie by sharing this article on social media or sending it to friends and neighbors. Helping spread the word increases their visibility and helps connect them with potential adopters in Northeast Arkansas.
