July’s Community Clean-Up Scheduled in Jonesboro

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – The City of Jonesboro has scheduled its next Community Clean-Up for July.

The cleanup, which will take place Saturday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 2650 Lacy Drive, is free and open to Jonesboro residents. Glass and cardboard recycling will be available.

Accepted items are listed below:

  • Clothes
  • Tires (limit to eight, no rims)
  • Basketball goals
  • Furniture (chairs, beds, tables, mattresses, TVs, computers, printers, etc.)
  • Appliances (washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters, refrigerators, etc. Freon and compressors must be removed)
  • Empty paint cans (dry residue only, lids must be removed)

Items that will not be accepted are listed below:

  • Yard waste or limbs
  • Tractor or semi tires
  • Hazardous materials (oils, fluids, batteries, flammables, corrosives, automotive parts, motors, transmissions)
  • Remodeling or construction debris (single pieces only)
