Montor, LA – (Contributed) – Arkansas State women’s basketball continued its dominant stretch Saturday afternoon with an 89–71 road victory at ULM, extending the Red Wolves’ winning streak to 11 consecutive games.

Senior guard Zyion Shannon reached a major career milestone late in the contest, becoming the newest member of the 1,000-point club, while Crislyn Rose led the way with 16 points and six assists. The win matched last season’s longest streak and pushed A-State to 13–3 overall and 4–0 in Sun Belt Conference play.

The Red Wolves once again showcased a balanced offensive attack, with Bella Weary (15 points), Marlie Dickerson (13), and D’Arrah Allen (10) also scoring in double figures. A-State shot 43 percent from the field and limited ULM to just 2-of-15 from three-point range, creating separation with disciplined defense and consistent scoring.

After a tightly contested first half, Arkansas State seized control in the third quarter with a decisive 19–2 run, holding the Warhawks scoreless from the field for nearly five minutes. The Red Wolves stretched the lead to as many as 21 in the fourth and closed out the 89–71 victory at the free-throw line to keep their momentum rolling.

Arkansas State continues its road trip Thursday, Jan. 8, with a matchup at South Alabama. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+, with live stats available at astateredwolves.com.
