Lazzari’s post on Facebook read:

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the permanent closure of the restaurant, a decision I have made after 30 years. I am grateful for the loyalty and support of our customers throughout the years. I would be dishonest if I said this decision did not affect me deeply. Today has been an incredibly tough day.”

Lazzari is the second Italian restaurant to announce its closure in recent weeks. Pastaria49 permanently closed its doors on Dec. 20, 2025.
