Learn how to start a small business in Arkansas this month at A-State

Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) will offer an opportunity for small business owners to learn about starting a business in Arkansas this month. 

ASBTDC at Arkansas State University provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability. 

This month, one class will be held for future entrepreneurs. “Starting a Business in Arkansas” will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, in room 201 of the Delta Center for Economic Development, located at 319 University Loop.

This in-person event is available at no cost thanks to mission co-sponsors FNBC Bank, First Community Bank, East Arkansas Planning and Development District, First Security Bank, Simmons Bank, and Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority. The A-State ASBTDC is supported by the Neil Griffin College of Business and the Office of the Provost. 

This training event is supported by federal taxpayer funds. By registering, registrants certify that they are legally authorized to receive services funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars, in accordance with applicable federal law and Executive Order 14218 “Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Open Borders.”
