Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 3, 2024 – On August 17 from 9 am to 1 pm Laura Dacus, DVM, will be hosting a low-cost pet vaccination clinic.

This event is sponsored by Jonesboro Animal Services and NAFA Rescue. They will be offering vaccinations for rabies, canine 5 in 1, bordetella, and feline 3 in 1. In addition, they will also have heartworm testing.

The vaccines and the heartworm testing will be $10 each.

While vaccinations for pets are expensive, this low-cost pet vaccination clinic is targeted towards pet owners who are low income, disabled, elderly, unemployed, US veteran or active service members, ASU students, a City of Jonesboro employee, and rescue animals.

The animal that you are bringing to the vaccination clinic must also not have seen a vet other than low-cost services within the past 12 months. The only vaccination that doesn’t require any of these qualifications is the rabies vaccination.

If you or someone you know needs to get their furry friend vaccinated, you must pre-register by August 12th at noon. The link for pre-registration is here.

Within 2-3 days after completing registration, you will receive an email from nafahelp@gmail.com with the location and other important information. Be sure to check your spam folder or reach out if you have any questions.
