Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 20, 2024 – A man was charged with possession or use of child pornography Friday.
On Sept. 19, a woman reported 32-year-old Cortez Borders to JPD, alleging he had sent her obscene videos. While speaking with detectives, the woman said she had been speaking to Borders for a short time on social media when he began sending her photos and videos of his private parts.
Reportedly, Borders also sent the woman videos of him masturbating to images of small girls and asked her if she had “little girls or nieces.”
Borders was charged with one count of possession or use of child sexual abuse material and obscene films. He was given a court date of Oct. 28 at 8:30 a.m. and a bond of $100,000 cash-only. Conditions of the bond include an ankle monitor and no internet access.
According to court documents, Borders was previously charged in 2023 with one count of distributing, possession or viewing matter depicting sexual conduct involving a child.
