Multiple Lanes on Highland Drive Closed Due to Wreck

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Multiple lanes on Highland Drive have been closed due to a traffic accident.

According to Jonesboro E911 Dispatch, both westbound lanes, as well as the interior eastbound lane, of Highland Drive are closed due to the accident.

Public information official for the Jonesboro Police Department, Sally Smith, told JRN the accident occurred in the 2400 block of Highland Drive, and that one person was transported to the hospital.

At 1 p.m., Smith told JRN the scene had been cleared.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Dispatch reported the accident at 11:02 a.m.
