National Guardsman gifted new car in Brookland

Brookland, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Michael Whatley, a sergeant in the Arkansas Army National Guard, was gifted a refurbished vehicle on Wednesday.

Whatley, who resides in Jonesboro, received the gift from the NABC Recycled Rides program. The car was donated by GEICO, and the repair partner was CARSTSAR.

The donated vehicle was a 2020 Nissan Murano S and will provide Whatley with reliable transportation as he navigates three full-time jobs.

NABC Changing and Saving Lives Foundation is a nonprofit committed to the goal of driving change for veterans, military members, first responders, and families in need. The program began in 2007 and has donated over 3,750 vehicles valued at approximately $67 million.
