Jonesboro, AR – (NEA Baptist News Release/Jonesboro Right Now) – NEA Baptist and UnitedHealthcare have reached an agreement that allows NEA Baptist to remain an in-network health care provider for more than 30,000 community members with UnitedHealthcare insurance in Northeast Arkansas.

This agreement applies to employer-sponsored and Medicare Advantage UnitedHealthcare insurance plans and is effective immediately.

“We are pleased to have reached an agreement with UnitedHealthcare for continued access to quality care at NEA Baptist. Providing access to exceptional health care for this community is our priority,” NEA Baptist CEO and administrator Samuel Lynd said in the news release. “Reaching this agreement was essential to ensuring our patients receive the care they need and our caregivers receive support to provide an expert system of care where love abounds so that God can do the impossible. These are vital elements in delivering on our mission. We are grateful for our community’s patience as we navigated this process and advocated for access to excellent care for this community.”

According to information on NEA Baptist’s website, this agreement will not result in changes to patients’ coverage. The website added that this will not result in any new costs or barriers. Any ongoing care and scheduled procedures will not be disrupted.

NEA Baptist offers a network of care that includes a full-service hospital, primary care and specialty clinics, and urgent care facilities.

Those with further questions are encouraged to call NEA Baptist’s patient information hotline at (870) 394-9299.
