Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept 7, 2024 – Mark your calendars because it’s fair time once again and everybody is gearing up for the Northeast Arkansas District Fair 2024.

This nine-day event promises to be lots of family fun, including new midway carnival rides, food, games, agricultural competitions, animals, entertainment, and vendor booths.

It is scheduled to take place from September 19-28 at the NEA District Fairgrounds at the Nettleton Baptist Church, located at 7001 Johnson Ave in Jonesboro.

The schedule will be as follows:

  • Thursday, Sept. 19
    • Gates open at noon and midway will be open from 4-11 p.m.
    • Armbands and single ride tickets are available. Gate admission still applies ($6 adults, $3 children under 12 and free children three and under)
  • Friday, Sept. 20
    • Gates open at 10 a.m. and midway will be open from 4-11 p.m.
    • Armbands and single ride tickets are available. Gate admission still applies ($6 adults, $3 children under 12 and free children three and under)
  • Saturday, Sept. 21
    • Gates open at noon and midway will be open from noon to 11 p.m.
    • Armbands and single ride tickets are available. Gate admission applies ($6 everyone and free children three and under)
  • Sunday, Sept. 22
    • Closed
  • Monday, Sept. 23
    • Gates open at noon and midway will be open from 4-11 p.m.
    • Armbands and single ride tickets are available. Gate admission applies ($6 adults, $3 children under 12 and free children three and under)
    • The Fox 104.9 presents Barry Wolverton at 7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 24
    • Gates open at 10 a.m. and the midway will be open from 4-11 p.m.
    • Two for Tuesday with rides only $2 (No Armbands for sale on this day) and gate admission $2 for adults and children under 12 (free children three and under)
    • Plus, there will be some $2 food items and game specials along the midway as well
  • Wednesday, Sept. 25
    • Gates open at 10 a.m. and midway will be open from 4-11 p.m.
    • Armbands and single ride tickets are available. Gate admission applies ($6 adults, $3 children under 12 and free children three and under)
    • The Fox 104.9 presents the Jake Lung Band at 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 26
    • Gates open at 10 a.m. and midway will be open from 4-11 p.m.
    • Senior Citizens Day with seniors over 65 admitted free from 1-6 p.m. Armbands and single ride tickets are available. Gate admission applies ($6 adults, $3 children under 12 and free children three and under)
    • The Fox 104.9 presents June and Giles at 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 27
    • Children’s Day with children under 12 admitted free from 1-6 p.m.
    • Gates open at 10 a.m. and midway will be open from 4-11 p.m., armbands and single ride tickets are available. Gate admission applies ($6 adults, $3 children under 12 and free children three and under)
    • The Fox 104.9 presents Downton Abbey with Abbey Plater at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 28
    • Armband Day gates open at noon and midway will be open from noon to 11 p.m.
    • Armbands and single ride tickets are available. Gate admission applies ($6 for everyone)
    • The Fox 104.9 presents Lori Dial and Friends at 7:30 p.m.

The fair also offers many different competitions in several different categories including Animals Competitions, Family Living, and Field Crops and Horticulture.

The Youth Judging Contests will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, and registration for all contests (except Tractor Driving) must be completed by 10:00 a.m. on September 25.
