Nettleton Schools Dismisses Junior, High School Students Due to Power Outage

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Students at the Nettleton Junior High and High School campuses will be dismissed early today due to an ongoing power outage.

Nettleton Public Schools (NPS) announced the dismissal at 8:29 a.m., noting that all other NPS campuses will continue with regular dismissal.

Parents are encouraged to make arrangements to pick up their children as soon as possible. The district later added that bus routes will be ran to take students home.

The Jonesboro City Water & Light outage map shows that the outage began at 7:37 a.m., and as of 9:24 a.m., 44 customers are without power.
