Nettleton Wins Fox Football Faceoff Vote — and the Game

Jonesboro, AR – \- The Nettleton Raiders came away with a double victory Friday night, winning both the football game and the latest round of the Fox Football Faceoff.

The Raiders hosted the Brookland Bearcats in this week’s matchup, and Nettleton edged Brookland 20-16 in a close game.

Nettleton also came out on top in the weeklong text voting competition, earning a $250 donation for the school’s athletic booster club.

Following the voting, Nettleton Athletic Director Tommy Raffo was presented with the $250 check from Roof Raiders and 104.9 The Fox.

The Fox Football Faceoff is a season-long promotion from 104.9 The Fox that puts two area high schools head-to-head each week. Fans vote for their favorite school by text, and the school receiving the most votes receives $250 for its athletic booster club.

Paragould at Nettleton Up Next

The Faceoff returns next Friday night with another matchup featuring the Nettleton Raiders, this time against the Paragould Rams.
