The probable cause affidavit states that on May 27, Alsup reported to a detective’s office for his sixth-month verification. During the process, he reported having no email addresses and no social media accounts. However, a consented search of his phone revealed that he had active, unregistered email, Facebook, and Messenger accounts.

Alsup is being held on one charge of failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements – refusal to cooperate with the assessment process.
