Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) – October 4, 2025 – Kadee Ramey of Paragould won a brand new 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV Saturday at the giveaway event conclusion to the Drive Away in a Santa Fe promotion.

The promotion was sponsored by Cavenaugh Hyundai, Sonic Drive In, and the Jonesboro Media Group.

Over 2,000 people packed on to the Cavenaugh Hyundai dealership lot at 3315 Stadium Blvd for Saturday’s event.

To enter the contest, you were required to listen to the six radio stations that are part of the Jonesboro Media Group (104.9 The Fox, 100.5 The Eagle, Mix 106.3, 98.5 The Outlaw, Hot 107.5 and EZ 92.7). The radio stations conducted 25 two-hour “text windows” where a keyword was broadcast over the radio. Listeners were instructed to text the keyword to a special number. The listeners were then sent a “reply text” that they were instructed to save and show at the event today to gain entry into the contest.

“This is the first thing I’ve ever won. So, it’s pretty exciting,” Ramey said. “Ecstatic. I am just overwhelmed with nerves of joy.”

Ramey told Phil Jamison with the Jonesboro Media Group that she has lived in Paragould almost two years after relocating to Paragould from Texas. “Turns out that was a pretty good move,” Jamison told Ramey. “Absolutely!” she responded.

Nine other finalists that were chosen won a $100 bill. In addition, ten weekly winners won $500 cash during the ten-week promotion for a total of $5,900 cash given away during the promotion.

This was the 25th vehicle giveaway promotion that Cavenaugh, Sonic and the Jonesboro Media Group have done together. “This type of promotion has always been very unique, but it’s really unique in today’s world,” said Trey Stafford, President/General Manager of the Jonesboro Media Group. “A lot of effort goes into executing this type of promotion. Not a lot of companies want to do something like this anymore.
