Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug. 15, 2025 – Part of a downtown Jonesboro road will be temporarily closed again on Saturday for beautification efforts.
According to a Facebook post from the City of Jonesboro, Cate Avenue from Main Street to the alleyway prior to Church Street will be closed Saturday, Aug. 16, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Main and Church Streets remain open and passable, the post said.
The same area was closed Friday, Aug. 15, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The closures are to allow for the painting of a new mural. The mural, painted by Dexter, MO-based artist Katie Coleman, is on the side of the Generations Floral Company building, a Foundation of Arts Facebook post said.
