Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet River: River is a 14-week-old female puppy. She came in with her litter of six and her mama, Cher, two weeks ago. She currently weighs 21 lbs. and will likely be a large-sized mix. She’s up to date on her vaccines and preventatives and has already been microchipped. River is affectionate and playful and ready to find her furever home!
