Public Input Meetings Scheduled for Proposed Park Expansion Grant in Jonesboro

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Two public input meetings are scheduled for later in July, inviting residents to provide their opinions on park improvements.

According to a Facebook post from the City of Jonesboro, the city is seeking public comment on a proposed outdoor matching recreation grant. This grant would support purchasing land, allowing the expansion of recreational activities at Joe Mack Campbell Park.

There are two meetings scheduled for Thursday, July 16, which are listed below:

  • 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Council Chambers of the Jonesboro Municipal Center, located at 300 S. Church St.
  • 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Joe Mack Campbell Park, located at 3021 Dan Ave.

“Your feedback will help guide future outdoor recreation opportunities in our community,” the post said. “We hope you’ll join the conversation!”
