Several club meetings scheduled at Jonesboro library

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Several clubs are scheduled to meet at the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library during February.

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the library will be hosting its monthly Novel Lovers Book Club in the Shakespeare Room. This club meets every fourth Tuesday of the month. February’s book is “The Goddess of Warsaw” by Lisa Barr. Books are available in both physical and digital formats.

On Feb. 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Teen-Table Club will host its Teen Table-Top Game Day in the TeenHub area. The tabletop RPG campaign will be led by Charlie Potter, and registration is not required.

Later that same day at 12 p.m., the Cookbook Club will meet in the Round Room. February’s featured cookbooks are “The Rise: Black Cooks and the Soul of American Food” by Osayi Endolyn and “For the Culture: Phenomenal Black Women and Femmes in Food” by Klancy Miller.

Copies of both books are available at the Adult Services desk. Participants are invited to pick a recipe from one of the books and bring it to share with the club. February’s meeting aims to explore the cultural impact of Black chefs and food writers, while also celebrating Black History Month, according to a library press release.
