Shooting Sports Complex hosts ATA event

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 28, 2025 – The Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex hosted the September 300 Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) Tournament on Saturday.

The ATA is the governing body for the sport of trapshooting in the United States and beyond. Founded in 1900, the ATA oversees competitions, sets the official rules, and maintains records for the sport.

With more than 5,000 registered clubs and thousands of members nationwide, the organization promotes both recreational and competitive shooting. Its signature event is the annual Grand American World Trapshooting Championships, considered the largest trapshooting tournament in the world.
