Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Construction work has begun on the site of Jonesboro’s first Raising Cane’s restaurant.

Joshua Brown, co-founder of Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate and Development, which brokered the deal, said site work just started and that crews are expected to move quickly.

“We do real estate projects with national chains on many high traffic count locations because they are who pays the most for real estate,” Brown said. “Our core brokerage business is listing commercial properties that we feel we are well-suited to take to market and get the most money for our client. The last five years or so, there have been many chicken and coffee restaurants pop up, not just in Jonesboro, but all over the mid-south.”

A Raising Cane’s representative said the fast food chicken restaurant will open next summer. The representative added that Raising Cane’s restaurants are primarily company-owned and operated, and that the Jonesboro restaurant would be the same.

“Raising Cane’s is excited to bring our ONE LOVE® – Craveable Chicken Finger Meals® – to Jonesboro, AR at 2511 E Highland Road summer 2026,” the representative said.

Raising Cane’s serves chicken fingers in over 950 restaurants across 43 states and the Middle East.
