Suspect and trooper’s vehicles crash in high-speed chase ending in Jonesboro

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 3, 2024 – Arkansas State police were involved in a high-speed chase with an unknown suspect on Thursday.

It is currently unclear why the chase began. It began on US 78/State Highway 18, entering the Jonesboro City Limits.

To end the chase, a state trooper executed a tactical vehicle intervention maneuver (TVI), in front of the Butterball facility at 9401 E. Highland Drive, causing both the suspect’s and trooper’s vehicles to crash.

The trooper was taken to St. Bernards, injuries are currently unknown.
