Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 9, 2024 – A Craighead County Deputy attempted a traffic stop on Thursday night in north Jonesboro.

The deputy observed the vehicle in the middle of the roadway “in both lanes of traffic.” He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, but it didn’t stop. The white Dodge Challenger continued northbound on N Culberhouse, even passing other vehicles on a double yellow.

The Challenger turned westbound onto Arrowhead Farm Rd and eventually came to a stop. The driver was identified as 29-year-old Jonathan Lindsey and the passenger was identified as 42-year-old Billy Coram.

The deputy was familiar with both subjects from previous encounters, and knew that Coram had an active full extradition warrant out of Mississippi.

Lindsey was cited for reckless driving. Coram was arrested for his felony warrant. Both men were taken to the Craighead County Detention Center. Listed charges include Assisting other Agencies, and Reckless Driving 1st and 2nd degree.
