University College Recognizes Top Graduating Students for 2025-26

Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The top 2025-26 graduating students in University College at Arkansas State University were recognized during Convocation of Scholars, according to Dr. Nikesha Nesbitt, dean.

The Chancellor’s Scholar Award for the highest overall GPA in the college was presented to Margaret Mooney of Wye Mountain, AR. Mooney is completing a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies with a thematic focus in medical sciences.

Harrison Herget of Jonesboro was recognized as the recipient of the Department Scholar Award. Herget is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies with a thematic focus in performance design and management.

University College offers the Interdisciplinary and general studies majors to those seeking flexibility to select a course of study from a wide array of disciplines.
