Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 26, 2025 – With October right around the corner, JRN has compiled a list of upcoming family-friendly Halloween events in Craighead County.

Oct. 3-6

The Addams Family, hosted by the Foundation of Arts

  • When: Oct. 3-6 at 7 p.m.
  • Where: The Forum Theater, 115 E. Monroe Ave., Jonesboro
  • Cost: Floor: $22 Adult, $20 Child/Senior/Military/ASU. Balcony: $20 Adult, $18 Child/Senior/Military/ASU. Purchase tickets here, 870-935-2726, or at the Forum Box Office.
    • Note: Pay What You Can Night is Oct. 4
  • Details: This musical comedy tells the story of Wednesday Addams falling in love with a “normal” boy, causing chaos when the families meet.

Oct. 4

Aden ROCKS 4th annual Fall Fest/Halloween Event

  • When: Oct. 4 from noon to 4 p.m.
  • Where: 269 Country Road 911, Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free admission
  • Details: This event will feature a two mile run/walk, rock painting games and more.

Oct. 11

Zachary’s Sensory Gym Halloween Costume Walk

  • When: Oct. 11 from 9-10:30 a.m.
  • Where: Nettleton High School track, 4201 Chieftain Lane, Jonesboro
  • Cost: Tickets are $10 per person or $15 per family
  • Details: This event will feature Halloween music from 102.5 KLEK, costume contests, prizes, and more.
    • Note: All proceeds go to Zachary’s Sensory Gym, a local nonprofit working to build a sensory gym in Northeast Arkansas

Oct. 24-26 and Oct. 29-30

House of Villains, hosted by the Foundation of Arts

  • When: Oct. 24-26 and Oct. 29-30 from 6:30-9 p.m.
  • Where: The Forum Theater, 115 E. Monroe Ave. in downtown Jonesboro
  • Cost: $10 per person, $35 for a Family Bundle (purchase four to six tickets together and it will be automatically applied). Purchase tickets online, 870-935-2726, or at the Forum Box Office.
    • Note: Large groups purchasing 10+ tickets get 20% off the total.
  • Details: This is a family-friendly walk-through/short Halloween show. It is a drop-in style event.

Oct. 27

La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza Trunk or Treat

  • When: Oct. 27 at 5 p.m.
  • Where: La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza, 604 East Highland Drive in Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free admission
  • Details: This event will feature free candy and games. Kids eat free.

Oct. 29

Jonesboro Police Department Trunk or Treat Block Party

  • When: Oct. 29 from 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Corner of Matthews Avenue and Union Street in downtown Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free admission
  • Details: This event will feature fun, food, candy, toys, games, music and dancing, trolleys, hayrides, contests, prizes and more.
    • Note: If you would like to donate candy, it can be dropped off at Jonesboro Fire Department Station 1, located at 3215 E. Johnson Ave., or at the Jonesboro Police Station, 1001 S. Caraway Road.

Ridgecrest Baptist Church Trunk or Treat

  • When: Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m.
  • Where: Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 610 Powell Drive, Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free admission

Oct. 30

Jonesboro Cycle and ATV Trunk or Treat

  • When: Oct. 30 from 6:30-8 p.m.
  • Where: Jonesboro Cycle and ATV, 11759 U.S. HWY 63 North, Bono
  • Cost: Free admission
  • Details: This event will feature candy from decorated trunks, photo ops, music, family fun and more. (Costumes are encouraged.)

Oct. 31

Mayor’s Youth Advancement Council BOO in the ’BORO 

  • When: Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m.
  • Where: Union Park, 405 Union Avenue in downtown Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free admission
  • Details: This event will feature candy, games, crafts, entertainment, a photo booth, face painting, and more.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” @ The Forum

  • When: Oct. 31 at 8:30 p.m.
  • Where: The Forum Theater, located at 115 E. Monroe Ave. in downtown Jonesboro.
  • Cost: Free admission. $20 prop bags available. (No outside props allowed.) 
  • Details: Viewing of the 1970s movie, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”
    • Note: Movie-goers are also invited to come out for a costume contest at 8 p.m., followed by a pop-up performance by the musical cast for ACT II Performing Arts’ “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” The movie will follow.

Refuge Church Blocktober 2025

  • When: Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.
  • Where: Refuge Church, 1925 Wood St., Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free admission, register here.
  • Details: This event will feature games, inflatables, free food and candy, and more.

Jonesboro Overhead Door sixth annual Halloween Skele-bration

  • When: Oct. 31 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
  • Where: Jonesboro Overhead Door, 925 E. Parker Road, Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free admission.
  • Details: This event will feature trunk or treat candy, photo-op under the Drewster Dragon pirate ship, hot dogs and popcorn, Captain Jack O’ Lanterns Halloween walk-through display and more.

Brookland Baptist Church Trunk or Treat

  • When: Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m.
  • Where: Brookland Baptist Church, 200 N. Oak St., Brookland
  • Cost: Free admission.
  • Details: This event will feature decorated trunks for kids, free hot dogs, a hayride and more.

Nov. 1

Forest Home Church of the Nazarene sixth annual Slings and Sticks

  • When: Nov. 1 from 4-7 p.m.
  • Where: Forest Home Church of the Nazarene, 2403 Ritter Drive, Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free admission
  • Details: This event will feature trunk or treat, food trucks, zip-line, pumpkin chunkin, carnival games, bonfire, kiddie train, and more.
    • Note: Everything for this event is free, unless you would like to buy from the food trucks. Portions of those proceeds will go toward local nonprofit organizations.
