Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – The Westside Warriors had two reasons to celebrate Friday night, winning both their football game and the latest Fox Football Faceoff competition presented by 104.9 The Fox and Roof Raiders.

Westside defeated the visiting Trumann Wildcats 28-12 on the football field while also claiming victory in the week’s fan voting competition, earning a $250 donation for the Warriors’ athletic booster club.

It’s the second Fox Football Faceoff victory of the season for Westside, which previously won the voting competition during its September matchup against Hoxie. The two victories have brought a total of $500 in donations to Westside’s athletic booster club.

The Fox Football Faceoff is a season-long promotion from 104.9 The Fox and Roof Raiders that celebrates high school football and school spirit across Northeast Arkansas.

Each week, two area high schools are selected for the competition, with fans encouraged to rally behind their favorite team by texting their votes. The school receiving the most votes earns a $250 donation for its athletic booster club, courtesy of Roof Raiders and 104.9 The Fox.

Next Week: Nettleton at Valley View

Both schools have participated in previous Faceoff matchups this season, and Nettleton has already claimed two voting victories.

Voting for the new matchup begins Monday.

Fans can support their favorite school by texting:
