Westside Wins Fox Football Faceoff Vote, Then Beats Hoxie 23-7

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Westside High School has won the latest round of the Fox Football Faceoff, earning a $250 donation for its athletic booster club after receiving the most votes in this week’s school-vs.-school competition from 104.9 The Fox.

Before Friday night’s game, Mitch Mahan, Jonesboro Media Group Director of Content, presented Westside booster club leadership with a $250 check on behalf of 104.9 The Fox and Roof Raiders, sponsor of the season-long promotion.

The Fox Football Faceoff gives fans an opportunity to rally behind their school each week by texting their vote. The school receiving the most votes earns a $250 donation to its athletic booster club.

Westside followed up its victory in the voting with a victory on the field, defeating Hoxie 23-7 Friday night.

The Fox Football Faceoff now moves to one of the area’s most anticipated rivalries.

Valley View at Jonesboro Up Next

Next week’s Faceoff will feature the Valley View Blazers visiting the Jonesboro Hurricanes in a cross-town rivalry Friday night.

Voting begins Monday, with fans able to vote for their favorite school by text:

Once again, the school receiving the most votes will receive a $250 donation for its athletic booster club, courtesy of Roof Raiders and 104.9 The Fox.
